About The Author
The son of a U.S Navy SEAL and 2012 Golden Gloves champion, Josh Plasse studied Homeland Security and Criminal Justice at Virginia Commonwealth University before moving to Los Angeles and dedicating his life to screenwriting and filmmaking. With over fifty episodes of network television under his belt, Josh has also penned and produced three feature films and two documentaries. In 2022, Josh starred as Wes in the Paramount Studios television series iCarly and Luke Baxter in the Amazon Studios television series The Baxters, based on Karen Kingsbury’s critically acclaimed literature series.
Most recently, Josh has starred in Wildflower for Hulu, 9-1-1 Lonestar for Paramount Studios, and his own feature film titled Ride, starring C. Thomas Howell. Josh penned the script, which Variety and Sports Illustrated called “masterful” and “a rodeo movie like no other” respectively. He is responsible for raising over $50,000 throughout his multiple campaigns for veteran suicide awareness, and he currently resides in Nashville with his wife and two fur babies (dogs).
