Lauren Parker

Lauren Parker is a writer and visual artist in Oakland, California. She has written for Toast, Strange Horizons, The Racket, Catapult, and Autostraddle. She’s the author of the chapbook We Are Now the Thing in the Woods, and a poetry collection about David Bowie entitled The Dark Way Down. A third-degree practitioner with the Temple of Witchcraft with over ten years of magical practice, she specializes in money magic, folk witchcraft, ritual bonework, and divination tools like Ouija boards and scrying mirrors.
