Purificación Hernández has been drawing since she was a young child. She attended the University of Barcelona, Spain, and received a degree in fine arts, specializing in engraving. But she returned to illustration, drawing for advertising, newspapers, magazines and, of course, children’s books. Today she still makes her home in Barcelona.
