Corso; the coauthor of The Riverman and Signature Killers with Robert Keppel, PhD; and the editor-in-chief of The McGraw-Hill Personal Computer Programming Encyclopedia. Dr. Birnes lives in Los Angeles and New York with his wife, novelist Nancy Hayfield.
