About The Authors

Barrie Tomlinson is a comics writer and former group editor at IPC Magazines, who has written strips including Death Wish & Turbo Jones for Wildcat. He was also involved with Roy of the Rovers, Teenage Mutants Hero Turtles and Scream!. Barrie wrote the Scorer football strip which appeared in the Daily Mirror, six days a week, for 22 years. He has written two books about his time in comics. Real Roy of the Rovers Stuff is about the work he did as Editor and Group Editor of Roy of the Rovers. Comic Book Hero is all about his work on other comics he edited.
