Kim Krilic is a divorced ex-con who’s trying to atone. However, his short temper tends to get the best of him. When he returns to Florida to bury his estranged son. He’s sickened to find an empty grave. His son’s remains were sold into “The Body Trade”. Armed with righteous fury, Kim sets out to reclaim his child’s corpse. But one act of vengeance causes everything to spiral out of control.

About The Author

Zac Thompson is a multidisciplinary writer from Prince Edward Island, Canada. He is best known for his work at Marvel Entertainment on titles like Ka-Zar: Lord of the Savage Land and The Marvelous X-Men. His debut original comic series, The Dregs, was called “lowbrow brilliant” by New York Magazine. In 2022, Thompson’s original screenplay The Replacer was selected for production financing from Telefilm Canada. In 2023, Zac received the PEI Arts Grant to write a novel tentatively titled That Thing I Found In You. His other comic book credits include Batman: The Brave and the Bold for DC Comics, Into The Unbeing at Dark Horse Comics, Cemetery Kids Don’t Die at Oni Press, and Blow Away at BOOM! Studios. When Zac’s not out in the woods foraging for mushrooms you can find him at the cinema or walking his dog Astra.

About The Illustrator

Jok was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in the seventies and has been working as a comic book artist since 1993. His work´s been published in the US (Image, Massive, Heavy Metal, Scholastic, Capstone, Bad Bug, Alien Books and soon in Mad Cave), England (Markosia, David Lloyd´s Aces Weekly), Italy, France (Mosquito, Delcourt), Spain, Germany (Splitter), Denmark, Cyprus, Canada, China (Cixin Liu´s work adaptation), Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

He runs a studio along with fellow comic book creators since 2001, splitting his time amongst several endeavors, including work-for-hire projects, creator-owned books, children illustration, attending conventions all over the world and not missing a match of his weekly soccer with friends and colleagues.
