About The Author

Courtney Acampora holds a B.A. in art history from San Diego State University and a M.A. from the University of Arizona. Currently working in publishing, Courtney's lifelong love for both art and books fused together and gave her the opportunity to write and create engaging books for kids. Courtney lives in San Diego, California.

About The Illustrator

Jenna Riggs grew up in Oregon and attended the University of the Pacific where she earned a BFA in graphic design. After working for Quark, Inc., she opened Jenna Riggs Collaborative in 1997. Her clients include a wide variety of non-profits, corporations, publishers and small businesses. In addition to being a well-rounded designer, she is also an illustrator, and her work can be found in children’s books and products. She lives on Vashon Island, a short ferry ride from Seattle, with her husband and two daughters.
